The diagnosis was rarely about the product or the team. It was about the model. Portugal was being represented as a satellite — through Madrid, through a generic Iberian portfolio, through a distributor calendar that gave Portuguese accounts a fraction of the attention given to Spanish ones. And complex security architectures were being designed by generalist integrators chasing the next quote, without the independent expertise the work required. The market deserved better.
